Panic Brothers – with John Moloney at the Convent Stroud
December 4, 2015 @ 8:30 am - 11:00 pm
The Panic Brothers Present: Comedy Cabaret with special guest John Moloney… The Panic Brothers are sharp witted standup comedian and songwriter Richard Morton and award winning singer songwriter Reg Meuross: two men, two mics, two guitars, two voices that blend so well it’s hard to tell which is which.
The pair have reunited, after a break of 25 years, and are teaming up with some of their most talented friends from the entertainment business for a series of cabaret style evenings of music and comedy at the Bloomsbury Theatre London and the Convent Club, Stroud.
Hailed for their “Spine-chilling harmonies” (The Guardian) and “..combination of sharp, witty songs, tight harmonies and powerful acoustic guitars” (Time Out), this show will feature special guest comedian John Moloney who will star in a fantastic musical finale.
John Moloney has been a professional comedian for over twenty years, and has entertained audiences across the globe with his crafted, intelligent and original stand-up routines. Winner of the Best Live Performer award for two years running at the London Comedy Festival, John has become one of Britain’s most in-demand comedy acts, a true comic talent. John was also delighted to be nominated as ‘Best Live Stand-Up’ at the British Comedy Awards.
“Moloney’s comedy is in defiance of the trend towards sophistication. His technology consists of a microphone and….that’s it. His gags are stripped down and rapid, his delivery is suitably clipped. No fat on this show.” – THE SUNDAY TIMES “Excellent snappy songs, booming acoustic guitars and perfect harmonies are the Panic’s trademarks” – Andy White (Music Week)
