REG MEUROSS was introduced onto the stage of the Albert Hall by Mike Harding as “one of this country’s finest singer songwriters”. He is a true modern troubadour, representing contemporary English folk writing at it’s best. He captivates audiences with his beautiful tenor voice, winning Best Male Vocalist 2013 Fatea, and FolkWords Best Album 2014 for England Green & England Grey. Reg is an accomplished musician, accompanying himself masterfully on guitar bringing beautiful songs from his highly acclaimed solo albums, including characters from history, protest songs and some of the most heart aching love songs ever written, performed with depth and spellbinding delivery. “There’s something special about the way he writes and delivers a song” Townes Van Zandt.

In the mid-1980s Reg Meuross formed the Panic Brothers with Richard Morton, mixing Americana with humour and slick harmonies. Then came the Flamingos, Hank Wangford, and now 11 solo albums have established his songs as ‘the hinges upon which swing the doors of perceptive English folk’ (Folkwords).

Reg’s songs comment on life as he sees it, with some of the most beautifully disarming songs and lyrics ever written, bringing wide ranging stories from the ghosts of WW1 soldiers to the ravages of dementia and some of the most beautiful love songs ever written. Reg has that rare gift of being able to touch people, through his songs and performance, on a really human level. His words and music paint pictures that remain with the listener long after the song has been sung.

STEVE YOUNG grew up on the Isle Of Wight, but working as session guitar player has meant travel across the globe. He has put the experience of playing and recording in bands as diverse as Lionel Ritchie, Savage Garden, and even Peter Andre into a melting pot and his debut album of Country influenced Pop ‘Troubadour’ has been well received, and allowed him to be called a rising star of new Country, with a support for Carleen Carter.
