Boo Hewerdine & Reg Meuross both appeared on the music scene in the 80s (The Bible & the Panic Brothers) and have since established themselves over the decades as two of the UKs finest songwriters in their own right: both are fine craftsmen of lyric & melody and bring real humour, warmth, and a genuine connection with their audience to live performances.

The Travelling Talesmen will share the stage – swapping songs and stories for a night at the South Devon Arts Centre that promises great entertainment, laughter and tears for the audience.

Boo’s work includes having been the lead singer and creative force behind The Bible, as well as solo recordings and work for film. He has also produced records by several artists, including a long association with Eddi Reader. He has been described as “one of Britain’s most consistently accomplished songwriters”. http://youtu.be/stjaM9MXQNY

Reg initially came onto the music scene as half of the Panic Brothers, then formed the quintessential roots band, Flamingos.  Since then he has gone on to record seven stunning solo albums, been labeled ‘master storyteller’ by PennyBlack music and introduced onto the stage of the Albert Hall by Mike Harding as ‘one of the finest singer songwriters this country has produced’. http://youtu.be/2V4F3-oPOsg
