Earlier this year I was really lucky to be invited to Abbey Road to record some new songs. I decided that this was probably the time and place to make that Solo CD that ,many have asked about and I’ve cautiously promised. We recorded 12 songs in Studios 1 & 2 – I cheated a little and brought Bethany Porter in to play Cello on 6 of them, but the rest, apart from a little harmony are pretty much just me.
I’m really pleased with the results. Roy Dodds, who has recorded my last 3 CDs has started work on the Mixing and finishing and is doing wonders with that very special and unique Abbey Road sound. – I used John Lennon’s Microphone!
